Lorum Old Rectory – Celtic Cycling’s Base

A warm welcome is assured at Lorum Old Rectory, nestling beneath the Blackstairs Mountains. Bobbie Smith has built a great reputation for imaginative home cooking with many organically grown ingredients.

Places of interest within easy reach include medieval Kilkenny, New Ross town where the “Dunbrody” a replica of a famine ship constructed by local craftsmen is moored and which is open to visitors, the Viking towns of Waterford and Wexford as well as all the sights of Carlow.

There are many Heritage sites and Gardens that are open to the public within easy reach of Lorum. For the more energetic there are opportunities for outdoor and indoor activities in the vicinity.
